Britney is getting criticized for letting her sons play with water guns at the pool.

Recently, Britney Spears took her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to The Four Seasons hotel in Westlake Village, Calif. when wildfires were threatening her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. While at the hotel, Britney took her sons to the pool and allowed them to play with water guns, which enraged the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Shannon Watts.

“As parents it is our responsibility to set a good example for our children,” Shannon Watts told National Enquirer. “As a celebrity parent it is especially important. Jayden was photograph not just playing with any toy gun. It looks like an assault weapon. It is very disappointing to see Britney allowing her young ton to play with such a violent toy.”

Is Britney being unjustifiably targeted for allowing her son to play with a toy gun, as millions of mothers around America allow their children to do?

“Britney’s been criticized for some lapses in judgment as a mother,” said a source close to Brit’s ex-husband Kevin Federline. “But, if letting a boy play with a toy gun is bad mothering, there must be millions and millions of bad mothers in America.”

Will.i.Am has opened up about working with Britney on her highly anticipated new album and revealed that he approached it in a way he has never tried before.

Speaking to Billboard about being executive producer of the exciting project, he explained that taking a personal interest was important and he spent a lot of time getting to know Britney on a one-to-one level outside of her music career:

“We start (recording) next week. Before we even start we’ve had these juicy sessions, where we’ve been bonding, building the trust and comfort. I’ve never worked like this before – not even the Peas. I wanted to just go to lunch for two months, which is totally different from how you typically do it.”

“I said, ‘Let’s talk about what you’re excited about. Let’s talk about things you’ve done in you career, what you’re happy about. Let’s talk about spending time with your kids, let’s talk about your breakup. Let’s talk about how now you’re single, how independent you might feel.’ We started talking about all that stuff. So I said, ‘do you mind if I write this down? I don’t mean to impose but I want to interview you. I need this to create a filter.’”

He admitted that by getting to know who she truly is, he will be able to make her new collection of songs fit her personality and experiences, which will make for a fantastic listening experience: “When people start bringing us stuff, I can say ‘Actually we can’t have this song. Yes, we want dance songs but that’s a little too dark.’”

“I want it to fit with the emotions. I’m really excited about that and honored that she trusts me. I don’t want to let her down. I just want to do it the way a brand would do it. They wouldn’t say, ‘Take this. Put it out.’ That’s not what you would do. You’d come up with a mood board, the logos, the font, all the other stuff.”

Can’t f*cking wait for Album 8!

Producer Danja has hinted that Britney Spears could make a second volume of her album ‘Blackout’.

Brit released the record in 2007 and the album, which spawned tracks like ‘Gimme More’, received largely favourable reviews.

Speaking to MuuMuse, producer Danja - who worked on the original record - said that there have been discussions about making a ‘Blackout 2.0’. He revealed:

“I’m with everybody else. I want to make it happen. I’ve been in the studio creating for her. We haven’t got in yet, we’re just collecting songs and creating an energy. There’s been a lot of conversation and a lot of talk. I don’t know when the next [‘Blackout’] is going to be, but I believe there’s going to be another one.”

Britney has been busy working on new material recently, but there has been no official word on what the project will be named.
