When Britney changes her hair color, it’s world-wide news!

An American sweetheart shows off her new brown hair while attending the 2013 Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party held at the Pacific Design Center on Sunday (February 24) in West Hollywood, California. 

Yahoo! posted a photo of Britney with her new look at the event, saying

A newly single Britney Spears debuted a softer, chocolate-hued ‘do upon arriving at Elton John’s annual Oscars bash in De Grisogono jewels and a plunging, black sequined gown courtesy of Michael Cinco Couture. Looking better (and more natural) than ever — thanks to the darkened tresses — Brit enjoyed her evening accompanied by longtime manager, Larry Rudolph. Do you prefer the pop princess as a blonde or as a brunette? More importantly, do you think Britney’s dramatic makeover will make her ex, Jason Trawick, a bit jealous?

MTV is also impressed with her new look.

Britney will join One Direction, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj to help rebuild Seaside Heights, N.J. (home of the network’s reality TV hit “Jersey Shore”) after superstorm Sandy.

Destiny’s Child vet Kelly Rowland might have been a judge on the U.K. version of ”The X Factor” for only one season, but during her tenure on the show, she learned enough to offer up some advice to newbie judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.

“I’m excited for them,” she told MTV News. “I’ll let them know it’s a lot of work. It is a lot of work, but it was definitely a great process.”

Rowland recalls the judging process and thinks Britney and Demi will learn and grow a lot through this process, much like the contestants. “You might be running into the next big thing,” she said. “Or, like for Britney, the next big her, or the next big Demi Lovato. I think that’s really exciting for them, and they’ll be a part of that, and they’ll never forget that.”

The show requires a lot of individual attention for the contestants. “Any advice? Take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of work, but it’s a lot of fun,” she said.

“Choose the right songs and songs that will make people excited, make them feel something … you have to touch people’s hearts.”

“It is a lot of responsibility, and when you screw up or if you screw up, then everybody blames you,” she noted. “Simon included.”

Britney got 0 nomination for MTV VMA this year.. as well as Gaga.
