Britney Tweeted fans a very special message about the Grammys…

I am both honored and humbled to take part in the GRAMMY salute to Whitney Houston on Thursday… She’ll always be 1 of my heroes!

But unfortunately our home girl won’t be performing, however. She along with Oscar-winner Halle Berry, actress Taraji P. Henson and rapper LL Cool J will introduce segments and iconic footage of Houston from from the Nokia Theatre stage at Thursday.

Britney did attend the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party with fiance Jason Trawick at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California.

Brit also tells reporters tonight her all time favorite Whitney Houston song is “I Will Always Love You.”

The people gone crazy because Britney’s so rare!

It’s confirmed by new report, Britney is listed as the guest on Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party.

Others attending include Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Diana Ross, Tom Hanks, Serena Williams, Tony Bennett, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Hudson, Sacha Baron Cohen, Neil Young, Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones and Sean Parker.
