BRITNEY HONORED IN “WOMAN WHO ROCK” EXHIBITION

Britney Spears will feature on “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Pwer” exhibition an event held by The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum at the EMP Museum in Seattle this summer

“Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power” is a ground-breaking and provocative exhibit that illustrates the important roles women have played in rock music, from its inception through today. It highlights the flashpoints, the firsts, the best, the celebrated and sometimes lesser-known women who moved rock and roll music and American culture forward. Women Who Rock will open to the public at EMP on Saturday, June 15, 2013.

The exhibit spotlights more than 70 female artists, including interviews, videos and listening stations.

Highlighted artists in the same category as Britney, “Causing a Commotion: Madonna and the Pop Explosion,” also include Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, and Janet Jackson.

The exhibit will be open at EMP Museum through September 22, 2013.

BRITNEY SPEARS IS AOL’S MOST INFLUENTIAL WOMAN IN POP MUSIC

Britney was named the most influential woman in pop music by AOL Music, winning with 55% of the vote in the finals against Miley Cyrus.

CELEBUZZ! MARCH MUSIC MADNESS - WINNER: BRITNEY SPEARS

After faced 16 artist in round one and making it to the finals against Justin Timberlake, Britney took home the number one spot of Celebuzz’s March Music Madness competition this year with 90% of votes (in final round).

She also took home the number one in Billboard’s Hot 100 March Madness competition, her second victory after last year competition.

After three weeks of voting and hundreds of thousands of responses, “Scream And Shout” wins  the second annual Hot 100 March Madness this year! It’s Britney’s second victory after our-home-girl claimed the 2012 crown with “Hold It Against Me!

“From April 1, 2012 through the charts dated March 9, 2013, there have been exactly 32 songs that appeared in the Top 5 of the Hot 100 chart. The head-to-head match-ups within this year’s bracket were decided arbitrarily, and after four rounds of voting throughout the month of March, “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” and “Scream & Shout” emerged from their respective sides of the bracket.”

“Scream & Shout” defeated One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” Maroon 5′s “One More Night,” Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake,” P!nk’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” in final round  with 84% of votes.
