  • Debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 276,000 copies.
  • Britney’s sixth debut at the top of the charts and leaves her in a three way tie for third most number one albums for a female artist, tied with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson
  • It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipments of over 1 million copies in the US (only after a month of sales)
  • Britney’s first album to have three top 10 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100
  • The first single, Hold It Against Me became Brit’s 4th number one single on the Billboard Hot 100, making Britney the second artist in history to have multiple singles debut at #1

  • The Circus Starring Britney Spears (commonly referred to as the Circus Tour) was the seventh concert tour and the fourth world tour by Britney Spears.
  • It was launched to promote Britney’s sixth studio album Circus. 
  • It has 4 legs with total 97 shows (61 shows in North America, 22 in Europe and 14 in Australia)
  • A week after the tour was announced, 500,000 tickets were sold, prompting promoters to add more dates. The tour also broke attendance records in many cities, and all the North American shows were sold out.
  • The tour start at New Orleans Arena, New Orleans, Louisiana on March 3, 3009 and finish at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide, Australia on November 29, 2009.
  • The Circus tour was directed and choreographed by Jamie King.
  • The musical director by Simon Ellis
  • The production designer by Road Rage
  • Lightning design by Visual Light, conformed by Whitehouse and Leitch
  • The stage was designed by Road Rage and Central Staging. The stage was built by Tait Towers and included nine lifts, which had a cost of $10 million.

  • The Onyx Hotel Tour was the fourth concert tour by Britney Spears, It supported her fourth studio album In the Zone and visited North America and Europe.
  • It has 2 legs with 54 shows from March - June 2004
  • The show was directed by Kevin Tancharoen
  • Its original name was the In the Zone Tour, but Britney was sued for trademark infringement and banned from using the name.
  • The Onyx Hotel Tour was majorly inspired by Broadway musicals primarily focused on Grand Hotel (1929)
  • Tour merchandise grossed $4 million on the North American leg.
  • The Onyx Hotel Tour was listed as the eight highest grossing tour of the first semester of 2004, grossing $19 million. The tour ended up grossing $34 million
